ACC Barnstorming Tour to visit Pender High

The ACC Barnstorming Tour will be at Pender High School on April 10 for a charity basketball game against the Pender County All-Stars. Doors will open at 6 p.m., with tipoff slated for 7:30 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased at Pender High School or at Piggly Wiggly in Burgaw. General admission tickets are $10, but will be $12 on the day of the game. There are also a limited number of VIP tickets available for $50, which include a postgame reception with the players and front-row seats for the game. To order online, visit or call 704-246-3816.

This year's ACC all-stars are UNC's Leslie McDonald, Wade Moody, James Manor and Denzel Robinson; Duke's Tyler Thornton, Josh Hairston, Andre Dawkins and Todd Zaf-irovski; Wake Forest's Coron Williams and Travis McKie; and N.C. State's Jordan Vandenberg. The team will be coached by former Tar Heel great Phil Ford.

2014-2015 Registration Information

Students who missed their scheduled Registration session and make-up session can register online by logging into their PowerSchool account and clicking on "Class Registration."  Any students who do not register online by Friday, April 4th, will be registered by counselors with their registration card, if one was turned in.  Students who neither turned in a registration card nor registered online will have classes chosen for them.
March 13: Registration Cards are distributed to students through homeroom

March 20: Completed Registration Cards must be submitted to Student Services

March 24 - 31: Students will register electronically using their Registration Cards during lunch using the following schedule:

-Monday, 3/24: 9th Grade Students w/last names A – J

-Tuesday, 3/25: 9th Grade Students w/last names K – Z

-Wednesday, 3/26: 10th Grade Students w/last names A – J

-Thursday, 3/27: 10th Grade Students w/last names K – Z

-Friday, 3/28: 11th Grade Students w/last names A – J

-Monday, 3/31: 11th Grade Students w/last names K – Z

It is important for your student to be in attendance on their scheduled lab day as the make-up session is space-limited.  Students who fail to report to their session or their make-up session will have their courses chosen by Student Services.

Students who wish to register for an AP- or Honors-level course without teacher recommendation must submit a Course Waiver to their counselor.
