Welcome to Pender High School. We are a rural school, serving approximately 650 students in grades 9-12. The school is located approximately 5 miles west of Burgaw, NC on Highway 53.

Pender High Points of Pride:
Pender's 2009-10 End of Course test scores rose nearly 15 points over 2008-09
The graduation rate rose a statistically incredible 20 points
PHS carried the highest math scores in the county
PHS managed to close the achievement gap in the area of math between black and white males
PHS had the honor of being recognized for the female athlete of the year for the state of North Carolina
PHS won the 2010 1A Volleyball state title
